BOOKS:

Whispers Book Den stocks a variety of books, with main focus on African literature as well as selected motivational and inspiration books from all over the world. We have a special collection of Wahome Mutahi's published and unpublished works as well as his research material. Our services around books are three pronged service. They include:

Book Lending:

Book lending is on Membership basis, where the public is encouraged to borrow under their specific membership categories. The different membership categories are based on Whispers fictional characters , Appep, Thatcher, Whispers Junior, Pajero and Investment.

A section of material within the Den is however not be allowed outside the premises; these materials include researched articles, reviews, short plays, out-of-print books and any other material that is considered rare and privileged.

Book Selling:

Members who wish to purchase any book can place orders across the counter or through the Whispers Book Den website. Whispers Book Den runs a weekly notice board with reviews on new books locally and internationally. Through our regional and international networks, we strive to make these books accessible to Kenyans in order to encourage wide reading.

Reading Zones:

Whispers Book Den provides a quiet and serene ambience for private study. We offer reading areas with lockable storage areas for members who wish conduct private study. Our reading zones have a small research library as well as internet connection.
